Helping people and dogs understand each other

Pawfessor is a dog training app made by RHH LLC. We believe most "problem" behavior is a communication problem, and that any owner can fix a lot of it with a clear plan and a few kind minutes a day.

How we train

Every lesson uses reward based methods: we show dogs what to do and make it worth doing. We don't use punishment, intimidation or pain based equipment. That is the approach recommended by the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior, and research links aversive methods with more stress and fear in dogs.

Lessons follow the method of Școala de dresaj Alin Moldovan, Alin Moldovan's dog training school in Bistrița, Romania. Where a dog needs more than an app can give, we say so and point to a qualified trainer, behaviorist or vet.

How we write our guides

Not a vet

Pawfessor is general education. It does not diagnose, treat or replace veterinary care. If your dog is unwell, hurt or suddenly behaving differently, see your vet. In an emergency, go straight away.
